Stephanie Wonderlin – One Person You Should Be Following Right Now

Stephanie WonderlinI’m pretty bad at #FollowFriday on Twitter. In case you don’t know, #FollowFriday is when people on Twitter suggest other people on Twitter who they think should be followed. It’s a great compliment in the Twitterverse.

So on this Friday, I decided to take it a few steps further and write a blog post about one person in particular that you should be following, especially if you’re interested in the social media space. Her name is Stephanie Wonderlin (@SWonderlin on Twitter), and in the past few months she has so impressed me with the content that she’s put out that I couldn’t help but spread the wealth.

Stephanie is one kick ass social media maven from Austin, TX. She’s the Director of Account Services at 44Doors, and was named one of the Top 100 Women in Social Media, and rightfully so. She produces an über-useful YouTube show entitled Tweetheart TV – The first interactive social media show, of which I’m a big fan. I’ve learned so much from her.

With the help of her husband, who is quite the talented videographer and editor, Stephanie produces 5 videos per week, each covering social media tips, news, reviews (applications and books), cool websites and more. At around 90 seconds each, she PACKS in quality, useful information in a consumable timeframe with a very high production value, and makes it easy for you to click through for more information (right on the screen!). I was recently watching one of her videos about 8 Essential Apps for SXSW (South by Southwest) and found myself furiously taking notes and downloaded all the ones I didn’t have already. In the time it’s taken you to read this post, you may have been able to watch two of her videos! That’s efficiency.

Take a look at one of my favorite videos below, where she addresses one of MY biggest Twitter pet peeves, Auto Direct Messages!

I’ve always written this blog to help others. So I love seeing other people who are putting out content solely to help others succeed, and Stephanie is a perfect example of that. She never pitches a product or service and is always genuine. If you’re looking to learn more about the ever-changing social media space, start following Stephanie today on Twitter, YouTube, and Facebook.
