SlideShare Contest – Social Media for Business
Originally designed for a client, this presentation was altered and updated to be entered into the 2010 SlideShare.net’s World’s Best Presentation Contest. The presentation ultimately came in 3rd out of over 1,800 entries, as awarded by an independent panel of judges. It was also named as one of SlideShare’s Top 5 Presentations of the year in their 2010 Presentation Zeitgeist. You can learn how how I approached designing this presentation at the blog here.
The challenge was to offer a high-level overview to where we’ve been, where we are, and we’re we are going in social media. The result is a presentation that gives simple-to-follow steps to start implementing social media into a business.
Aside from being named one of the top presentations of 2010, this presentation has been viewed over 270,000 times, downloaded over 30,000 times, “liked” by over 3,000 people on Facebook and shared by over 1,700 on Facebook and Twitter.

Interactive Resume – DJ Waldow
DJ Waldow is a Social Media professional that had been a casualty of his company being acquired. DJ is very much ahead of the times when it comes to unique ways of using technology to find employment, so he wanted to make sure his resume was more than just a static piece of paper. After coming up with the first concept on his own, we helped him redesign it to capture more of his spirit and style. It posed some unique issues since it would need to be visually appealing but still convey necessary information online, without a presenter.

Fairfield University – Sophomore Symposium
The Dean of Fairfield University’s School of Business was looking for a presentation to be delivered to university sophomores, empowering them to live their passion and make a change in this world. The original presentation consisted of only text. We developed the story platform and added vibrant imagery to capture the audience’s attention.
